the other day I bought some stuffed cabbages out of the polish section in sainsburies. Now I'll eat pretty much anything but these were foul. Still ended up eating them when I got home pissed one night though

Fried grasshoppers and they were delicious, taste was a bit like a cross between Brie and prawns

I was a flu thing mate.

Was well on the pills and had to change the kid, who also had the lurge. Checked his temperature as you do on a 6-monther then forgot to clean thermometer before checking mine.

Bitter.

Not that exotic, but pig's ears - fucking disgusting, like chewing fat and cartilage. Filthy.

I've eaten whale sashimi, not bad nothing to write home about.

I'll try just about anything but I drew the line at bbq rat at the roadside in Laos. Would've but wasn't THAT hungry at the time.

One of the worst things I've ever had was a particular type of seaweed which had the appearance and consistency of thick coughed up snotty mucus.

I guess lamb fries or Rocky Mountain/prairie oysters would be usual for some.

Various parts of the Muskox.

Both of which I liked.

But grub worms when I was doing a survival thing for Scouts was less pleasant.

But the future of feeding the human race I am told.

Re: What's the most unusual thing you have eaten?
Fucking steak tartare. We were in Italy at a Michelin starred restaurant, and Mrs. Neilalex, the fucking dozy bastard, obviously thought it was something different and ordered it. I'd even fucking asked if she was sure that was what she wanted before she ordered it, but she seemed so certain I thought she must know what it was.

Anyway, it arrived, she went white and I did the honourable thing to save her blushes. Horrible, by the way, no idea why someone would eat that.
